Mr. Carl SavilleI love being in the outdoors. I am an avid rock climber. This summer I spent a week in the Adirondacks with my family, whitewater rafting, hiking and rock climbing. Recently I have begun running obstacal course races. The past year I ran 5 Spartan races, the longest being 13 miles. I have also started working with Mrs. Krueger at the PAMS Spartan club training 6-8th graders to participate in spartan races as well.

Favorite: I have been teaching art at Phoenixville for many years now. I think my favorite part is seeing my students find a passion and succeeding in their work. This may occur in art class, with a student showing off a project that they love, but it happens all over the school. I take part in many activities at PAMS from Art and Theater productions even working with the Spartan Club. I really enjoy working with this age group and helping them feel proud of who they are and what they can do. I try to stress to my students to find something that they are interested, or passionate about. If they pick a theme that interests them, it will be easier for them to out in the time and work to be successful.
