Mr. Ben SpinelliPersonal Information: Growing up in Phoenixville I went to Schuylkill Elementary, PAMS, graduated from Phoenixville HS in 1994 and attended Kutztown University where I earned a degree in Art Education. Furthering my schooling, I've accumulated 60 credits past my Master's Degree. Yes, I am the son of world famous authors Jerry and Eileen Spinelli. So if you have a book by either one just send it to me at PAMS and I will get it signed for you. Finally, on a more personal note, here is a list of some of my favorite things: Color: Blue Animal: Great White Shark Food: Anything Italian Cartoon: 1980's Transformers Book: Space Station 7th Grade (Jerry Spinelli) Medium: Colored Pencils Comic Book Movie: Guardians of the Galaxy Album: Ten by Pearl Jam.

Favorite: Being an art teacher, pinpointing a specific lesson as a favorite proves difficult because most projects are so personal to the students. Even within the same class, a similar project is approached differently. That's why I love my job. Every project, every day, every student is different. Beyond being an art teacher, running paint crew and stage crew for the Fall Play and Spring Spectacular and being an assistant wrestling coach allows me to build relationships with students who, normally, I may not be able to connect with in a classroom setting. Additionally, creating the yearbook along with Carl Saville is an awesome responsibility. Over the years we've produced yearbooks that PAMS students can enjoy as they reminisce over their school year. Beyond being extremely proud of our PAMS faculty in all they accomplish, I am blessed to be working for the school district that nurtured me and that I love.
