In 1998, we set out to provide an opportunity for PAMS 7th & 8th Grade students to experience the thrill and satisfaction of performing and creating a theatrical production. Over the years the students and teachers all learned what it takes to put on a fabulous show. The countless hours building, painting, sewing, programming, memorizing, and rehearsing always came together to tell a story slowly, loudly and clearly. As I look back at the many productions, I am grateful to the hundreds of students who lent their talents on stage and on our crews. I am thankful for the thousands of audience members of parents, friends and classmates who made it all worthwhile with their support, applause and laughter. I appreciate the support of our district and administrators who always allowed us to realize our vision. I am indebted to the talents of the faculty members, which have served in various production roles over the years. Without the work of our Assistant Directors, Production Designers, Artistic Directors, Technical Directors, Costume Designers and Choreographers combined with the talents of our Phoenixville students and the support and understanding of all of our families none of this would have been possible. I firmly believe that the theater can be a lifelong hobby; it’s a something you can enjoy whether you are 6 or 106. PAMS students in 7th and 8th grade who want to be a part if this incredible opportunity audition in September for a November production.
