Amy Darby - I have been teaching music at the middle school for over 20 years. I was nominated for the very first Grammy Award for Music Teachers and made it to the top 25 out of over 10,000 nominees. I am also a die hard Philadelphia Eagles Fan...Go Birds!!!!
My favorite time of year is musical season. I love working with all the students on the middle school show and having high school students come back as student directors. There is nothing more gratifying than starting a show from scratch and seeing all the wonderful things that come out of the student's hard work and dedication. I also enjoy playing in the pit for the high school musical and for musicals at other school districts.
