Cultural Identity Appreciation:
C.I.A. is a club that gives anyone who feels like the minority a voice that is sometimes unaware of what it is like to be you at school. It is a group that supports and affirms it’s okay NOT to be the majority. The club is made up of members that represent the entire school body and meet once per month to explore topics, peer issues, current events, diverse cultures, and traditions as well as unique people and their viewpoints. The goal of the club is to build an awareness and appreciation for diversity and to establish lifelong leadership skills for celebrating diversity.
