
High School and Middle school students worked together to analyze the health and well being of a local creek.
The sixth grade students, along with AP Environmental and AP Bio high school students conducted a creek study to see if Pickering Creek is a clean source of fresh water. After running 12 tests over the course of three days, the students analyzed the water and collected creatures. Some of the living things in the water were crayfish, clams, baby minnows, frogs, mayflies, and stoneflies.
