Archery Club Heads to Penn State

The Phoenixville Area Middle School Archery Club, under the leadership of Mr. Leister, will be participating in the 2016 Pennsylvania National Archery in Schools Program (NASP) on Friday, March 11, 2016 at Penn State University. 46 schools and over 900 students from Pennsylvania will be competing this year in the archery tournament which includes Elementary, Middle and High Divisions. The middle school students have been shooting during class and in the evenings since November. Many of the students will be competing for the first time at Penn State. This is a great experience for these students to compete against other archers from all of Pennsylvania.
