After an extensive search, the Phoenixville Area School District purchased property on Hares Hill Road in East Pikeland Township. The sale was completed on November 20, 2019. A new elementary school will be constructed on this land.
The property met several needs identified by the District during the search process:
** It is located in East Pikeland Township
** It has excellent access from three roads - Hares Hill Road, 724, and Ridge Road
** It will address the lack of an elementary school for this side of the PASD
** It will address overcrowding issues which currently exist in several of our schools
** It will provide space for future growth as housing development continues to grow within the District boundaries
