Each year after the holiday break, Winter Track club starts up here at PAMS. The decision to get a club started was mostly student driven; many asked that we organize weekly workouts for them so they could better prepare for their upcoming spring sports.
Advisor: Mr. J. Gabb
We meet 2-3 times a week after school for about an hour workout. The focus is on building core strength that would benefit any sport they would participate in the spring, from baseball to lacrosse or even track. When the weather co-operates we go outside to run a little, but the majority of the workouts are inside.
We look forward to other successful winter track club this year that will help students prepare for whatever sport they will compete in for the spring.
